Who we are

The Downtown Modesto Partnership created the RAD Card with the generosity of local donors to help our Downtown Modesto community, and it proved to be an impactful and efficient way to deploy much-needed relief funds to small businesses. The RAD Card is owned and operated by the Downtown Modesto Partnership.

We are a nonprofit 501c3 Community Benefit Organization whose mission is to create a vibrant community through activities and partnerships designed to improve the quantity and quality of experiences in downtown Modesto.

Why downtowns?

Social distancing has been devasting for small businesses, especially those in downtowns which rely upon an ecosystem of social gathering. Small restaurant and retail businesses help create the environmental conditions that make cities attractive to larger employers that power our economy.

A downtown is the only neighborhood in a city that belongs to everyone in that city, no matter where they live.

Interested in bringing the RAD Card to your community?

The RAD Card is designed to scale, and has already been rolled out to downtowns of Stanislaus County, then the entire City of Modesto, and now to the County of San Joaquin.

Currently, business participating report that revenue is up to 80% attributable to RAD Card sales, a powerful revenue engine that benefits both consumers and businesses during these challenging times for our economy and public health.
